SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Southern Shan, Chin States and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Mandalay, Yamethein, Hlaingtat, Magway, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun, Ann, Pyay, Gyobingauk, Yangon (Mingaladon), Ngathaichaung and Hpasaung. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08) inch each in Putao and Launglon.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, Shan, Chin States.
