SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk and Myawaddy and (39°C) each in Aunglan, Bago, Tharrawady, Yangon(Nothern Dagon) and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.24)inch in Dawei, (0.16)inch in Ye and (0.08)inch in Launglon.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
