SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon Regions and Southern Shan, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Yamethin, Aunglan, Pyay and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.43) inch in Monyin, (0.32) inch in Myeik and (0.20) inch in Dawei.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States.
