SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (4°C) below March average temperature in Kachin State, (2°C) below March average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kayin State, (3°C) above March average temperatures in Taninthatyi Region and Mon State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Hpa-an and Myawaddy. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.31)inch in Putao, (0.16)inch in Machanbaw and (0.08)inch in Hkamti.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southeast Bay and ‌a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
