SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan( North & East), Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) below February average temperature in Yangon Region, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Lower Sagaing Region and (3°C) above February average temperature in Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) each in Namsam, Heho, Mongyang and Hakha, (7°C) each in Pinlaung and Loilin, (8°C) in Pyinoolwin and (9°C) each in Kyaukmae, Minesat, Tiddim and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th February, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Kachin State.
