SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States, (3°C) above February average temperature in Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Mongyang, (8°C) in Namsam and (9°C) each in Kyaukmae, Pinlaung, Loilin, Minesat, Hakha and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th February, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Kachin State.
