SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and (5°C) above February average temperature in Naypyitaw and about February average temperatures in  Yangon Region and Chin, Rakhine States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha, (8°C) in Taungkok, (9°C) each in Putao, Heho, Mindat, Tiddim and Ramthlo and (10°C) each in Machanbaw, Namsam, Mongyang and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th February, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin States.
