SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kachin State and isolated in Magway Region and Northern Shan. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon States and (5°C) to (6°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Tiddim and Ramthlo and (7°C) in Mindat. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.32) inch in Nyaung Shwe, (0.20) inch in Lunkyaw and (0.08) inch each in Taunggyi and Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th February, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Shan State, scattered in Mandalay Region and Kayah State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80)%.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
