SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin States and (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Hakha, (2°C) in Loilin, (3°C) each in Kyaukmae, Mongyang and Ramthlo and (4°C) each in Putao, Lashio, Pinlaung, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay, a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th February, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.
