SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Mongyang and (5°C) each in Namsam, Mindat and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th January, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

 STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States.
