SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and (5°C) to (6°C)above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Ayeyarwady Region and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Mongyang, (6°C) in Heho, (7°C) each in Kyaukmae, Namsam and Pinlaung and (8°C) each in Loilin, Nyaungshwe, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th January, 2021: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States.
