SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan, Kayah States and (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (2°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) in Mindat, (5°C) in Pyinoolwin and (6°C) each in Lashio, Kyaukmae, Loilin, Ramthlo and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th December, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT: Generally fair in the whole country.
