SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) above December average temperature in Naypyitaw, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (5°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin, Mindat and Pyinoolwin and (6°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae, Kengtung, Tiddim and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.19) inch in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th December, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT: Slight increase of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
