SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (-4°C) below December average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) above December average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and (3°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-5°C) in Hakha, (5°C) each in Mindat, Tiddim, Ramthlo and Mogoke and (6°C) each in Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th December, 2020:  Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT: Generally fair in the whole country.
