SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin States, (3°C) above December average temperature in Mon State and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Pinlaung, (7°C) in Pyinoolwin, (8°C) each in Namsam, Heho, Mindat, Tiddim, Ramthlo and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm (Burevi) over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about (80) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Trincomalee (Sri Lanka), about (195) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Pamban(India) and about (295) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Kanyakumari (India).Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd December, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady  Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3-5) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
