SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Shan and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin States, (3°C) below November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine States and (5°C) below November average temperature in Kayah State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Pinlaung, (6°C) each in Hakha and Mogoke, (7°C) in Heho, (8°C) each in Mindat and Tiddim and (9°C) each in Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.12) inch in Kawthaung and (0.04) inch in Myeik.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th November, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
