SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Upper sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Kayah State and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Taninthayi Regions and Shan (North and South) State and (2°C) above November average temperature in Kachin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) each in Heho and Hakha, (8°C) in Mogoke, (9°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Mindat and (10°C) each in Kyaukmae, Namsam, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.28) inch in Nanyun and (0.08) inch in Putao.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin and Kayah States.
