SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Southern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Kayah State and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northen Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) each in Hakha and Mogoke, (7°C) in Heho, (9°C) each in Pinlaung and Pyinoolwin and (10°C) each in Kyaukmae, Namsam and Tiddim.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th November, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of  slight decrease of night temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayah States.
