SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon,  Taninthayi Regions and Kachin,  Shan, Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)below November average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State and (2°C) below November average temperature in Chin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (9°C) each in Namsam and Heho and (10°C) each in Loilin, Kengtung, Mongyang, Tiddim, Ramthlo and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURE:  According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the severe tropical storm “Vamco” over South China sea is crossing over Northern Vietnam coast near Dong Hoi. It is forecast to move West-Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Shan State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi  Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan,  Chin States.
