SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been isolates in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Chin State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Mon State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha and (7°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.28) inch in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURE:  According to the observations at (13:30)MST today, the typhoon“Vamco” over the South China sea is centered at about (125)miles East of Da Nang(Vietnam). It is forecast to move Westwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain or thundershowers in Eastern Shan State.
