SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah, Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Mon States, scattered in Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Rakhine State and widespread in the reamaing Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing Region. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Mon State and (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Sagaing Region, Kachin and (Northern and Southern)Shan States and and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (11°C) in Mindat and (12°C) in Hakha. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.90) inches in Singu(Agro), (3.46) inches in Hkamti, (2.72) inches in Maungdaw, (2.64) inches in Nanyun, (1.64) inches each in Kalewa(Thitchauk) and Tagaung(Agro), (1.57) inches in Kyaukmyaung, (1.50) inches each in Mingin and Myittha(Agro), (1.46) inches in Gangaw and (1.42) inches each in Kyauktaw and Taunggu.

BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over North Bay and adjoining central Bay of Bengal has weakened. Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions.
