SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairy widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin State and isolated in the reaming Region and States and with isolated heavy falls in Tanintahyi Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.74) inches in Dawei, (1.97) inches in Kawthaung, (1.29) inches in Myitson, (0.87) inches in Labutta, (0.83) inches each in Mindat, Paletwa and Mogoke, (0.75) inches in Sittwe, (0.74) inches in Kyaukhtu, (0.67) inches in Launglon.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Yangon,  Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw,  Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and  Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.
