BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and partly cloudy  over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “Saudel” over the South China Sea is centered at about (110) miles Northeast of Danang (Vietnam). It is forecast to move westwards and cross the upper Vietnam tonight.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 25th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in  Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
