SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, scattered in Yangon Region and Rakhine State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.33) inches in Kawthaung, (1.26) inches in Gwa, (0.98) inch in Kyeikkhame, (0.67) inch in Ngathaichaung and (0.63) inch in Monyin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and East central Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
