BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over East central Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Andaman Sea still persists. It may further intensify into a depression over Central Bay of Bengal during next (12)hours. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and East central Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States, Scattered in Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas are likely off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
