BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and East central Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, yesterday’s the tropical depression which crossed the Southern coast of Vietnam near Nha Trang, will continuously move to westward and then it will downgrade to the low pressure area over Cambodia. It will reach to the Gulf of Thailand and thereafter are likely cross to Southern Thailand and Southern Myanmar areas on tonight. It is forecast to reach the Andaman Sea at (9.10.2020).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway regions, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, kayah states, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Southern Myanmar areas.
