BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts (India) now lies over Northwest and adjoining Westcentral  Bay of Bengal Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts(India). Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Eastern Shan Stae, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 3rd October, 2020:  Isolated rain orthundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread Naypyitaw,widespread in Yangon Region and scattered in Mandalay Region.
