BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 30th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan(North and South) and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (5-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts .

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal.
