BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 29th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, scattered in Magway Region, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-8) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts .
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
