BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan state, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Southern Shan and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Mon State and isolated heavy falls in Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40-45)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 – 14) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
