BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 – 7) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (6-8) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Northern Myanmar areas.
