SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Mon State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.24) inches each in Mogaung and Hkamti, (2.13) inches in Shwegu, (1.65) inches in Hlaingbwe, (1.61) inches in Putao, (1.56) inches in Ta Gaung(Agro), (1.38) inches in Nyaung Shwe, (1.34) inches each in Namsam and Ngathaichaung, (1.28) inches each in Htilin and Kyeikdon and (1.22) inches in Hpasaung.

 BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal (off north Andhra Pradesh coast, India) still persists.  Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Northern Myanmar areas.
