SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Sagaing Region and Mon State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Rakhine States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.78) inches in Maungdaw, (3.74) inches in Putao, (2.56) inches in Kawthaung, (2.28) inches in Gwa, (2.21) inches in Hkamti, (2.05) inches in Taunggyi, (1.89) inches in Myauk U, (1.85) inches in Nyaunglaybin, (1.77) inches in Matupi and (1.46) inches in Kunlong.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

 FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Northern Myanmar areas.
