SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Sagaing, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.58) inches in Putao, (1.46) inches in Belin, (1.41) inches in Mogoke, (1.30) inches in Gangaw, (1.22) inches in Tada U (Avia-Met) and (1.18) inches in Thipaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
