SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region, scattered in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Mon States, isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.70) inches in Putao, (2.80) inches in Theinzayet, (2.16) inches in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri), (1.77) inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), (1.54) inches in Naypyitaw(Datkhinathiri), (1.50) inches each in Machanbaw and Paletwa and (1.34) inches  each in Shwekyin and Gyobingauk.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayah States, scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
