BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal and North Odisha (India) has crossed Southern parts of coastal area of West Bengal(India). Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 27th August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
