BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 21st August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions,  fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Chin and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:   Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 –7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Kayin and Mon States.
