BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, Northern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

 STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 – 9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
