BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 06th August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Gulf of Mottama, Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (10 – 13) feet Gulf of Mottama, Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (5-8) feet off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
