SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kayin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan(South and East), Kayah and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.25) inches in Paing Kyone, (2.32) inches in Pinlaebu, (1.78) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (1.38) inches in Machanbaw, (1.30) inches in Kawkareik, (0.98) inch each in Shan- Ywar-Thit and Paung, (0.75)inch in Wuntho, (0.67) inch in Theinzayet, (0.55) inch each in Putao and Belin, (0.47) inch in Kyaukhtu, (0.43) inch in Pathein and (0.39) inch each in Heho and Myawaddy.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin State, scattered in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak Monsoon.
