SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah and Mon States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, Chin and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.92) inches in Hkamti, (3.27) inches in Kunlong, (1.85) inches in Maubin, (1.76) inches in Gangaw, (1.73) inches in Myauk U, (1.57) inches each in Muse and Thandwe, (1.50) inches in Mogoke, (1.38) inches in Ye U, (1.34) inches in Kawkareik, (1.30) inches each in Kyaukpyu and Taunggu and (1.26) inches in Naungcho.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21stJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
