SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and Magawy Region. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Shan(South and East) State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.15) inches in Okkan, (2.52) inches in Tongzan, (2.05) inches in Taunggu(Avia-met), (1.80) inches in kya-In-Seikkyi, (1.69) inches in Tiddim, (1.38) inches in Hlaingbwe, (1.30) inches in Hainggyigyun, (1.26) inches in Coco Island, (1.25) inches in Paing Kyone, (1.18) inches each in Letpadan and Hlegu, (1.02) inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), (0.99) inch in Thandwe, (0.94) inch in Hkamti and (0.91) inch each in Putao and Myauk U.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Shan (North and East) and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Bago Region, Southern Shan and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
