SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.27) inches in Mogaung, (2.72) inches in Myitkyina, (2.56) inches each in Shwekyin and Launglon, (2.36) inches in Kyauktaw, (2.12) inches in Maungdaw, (2.01) inches in Madauk, (1.97) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (1.77) inches in Zalun, (1.50) inches in Ye, (1.42) inches in Hpa-an(Agro- Met), (1.38) inches in Myauk U, (1.30) inches in Kawthaung, (1.26) inches each in Khayan and Paing Kyone, (1.22) inches in Phyarpon and (1.18) inches in Laiway.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Kayah and (Northern and Southern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
