SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past
(24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Lower Sagaing and
Magway Regions, Eastern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and
Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan(North and South) and Kayah States, fairly widespread
in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining
Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. The noteworthy
amount of rainfall recorded were (2.28) inches in Kyauktaw, (1.92) inches in
Taunggu, (1.81) inches in Myauk U, (1.65) inches in Belin, (1.58) inches in
Naypyitaw(Datkhinathiri), (1.38) inches in Paletwa, (1.34) inches in Myeik,
(1.26) inches in Kataingti, (1.14) inches each in Khayan and Theinzayet and
(1.11) inches in Maungdaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and
Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12thJuly, 2020: Rain or
thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway
Regions, Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and
Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions
and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region
and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height
will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Monsoon is weak to moderate.
