SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.15) inches in Kyauktaw, (2.13) inches in Nanyun, (1.50) inches in Hkamti, (1.38) inches each in Thandwe and Taunggu, (1.30) inches in Kawthaung, (1.10) inches in Kamamaung, (0.95) inch each in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri) and Thaton, (0.91) inch each in Paletwa, Matupi and Ye U, (0.88) inch in Paing Kyone, (0.75) inch in Laiway and (0.71) inch each in Myitkyina and Kanbalu.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan(South and East), Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
