SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.25) inches in Hkamti, (2.09) inches in Maungdaw, (1.42) inches in Gangaw, (1.26) inches in Myauk U, (1.10) inches each in Myitkyina and Namsam, (0.98) inch in Bawlakhae, (0.94) inch each in Nanyun(Agro) and Ann, (0.87) inch in Matupi, (0.83) inch each in Kyaukmae and Manaung and (0.79) inch in Central Yangon.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
