SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.15) inches in Dawei, (2.95) inches each in Okkan and Shan-Ywar-Thit, (2.72) inches in Ngathaichaung, (2.40) inches in Namsam, (2.36) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (2.17) inches in Yangon(Kaba-aye), (1.85) inches in Maungdaw, (1.57) inches in Hmawbi, (1.50) inches in Payathonsu, (1.46) inches in Pathein, (1.42) inches in Launglon and (1.22) inches in Maubin.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Nothern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
