SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been in isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago and Yangon Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (6.38) inches in Gwa, (5.91) inches in Kyauktaw, (5.24) inches in Myauk U, (5.07) inches in in Sittwe, (4.33) inches in Okkan, (4.09) inches in Thandwe, (4.06) inches in Manaung, (3.03) inches in Tharrawady, (2.83) inches in Putao, (2.56) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.40) inches in Zalun, (2.27) inches in Gyobingauk, (2.20) inches in Ngathaichaung, (2.13) inches Labutta and (2.01) inches in Paletwa.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7thJuly, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
