SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan (South and East) State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mon State and isolated heavy falls in Rakhine and Kayin States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.17) inches in Kawkareik, (3.46) inches each in Kyauktaw and Kyeikmayaw, (3.15) inches in Mawlamyine, (2.99) inches in Gyobingauk, (2.95) inches in Mudon, (2.80) inches in Sittwe, (2.64) inches in Paung, (2.58) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (2.32) inches in Chaungsone, (2.20) inches in Hpa-an, (2.12) inches in Maungdaw, (2.08) inches in Myitkyina and (2.05) inches in Myauk U.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw and Magway Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Shan (South and East) and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
