SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions. Rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Kachin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.88) inches in Hlaingbwe, (3.31) inches in Launglon, (3.11) inches in Hmawbi, (2.75) inches in Khayan, (2.68) inches in Hlegu, (2.64) inches in Central Yangon, (2.30) inches in Nyauntone, (2.29) inches each in Taungkok and Phyu, (2.20) inches in Kawkareik, (2.01) inches in Myauk U, (2.00) inches in Kamamaung, (1.91) inches in Paing Kyone, (1.87) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit and (1.85) inches in Theinzayet.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th June, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Southern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
